Marek Hosek is an accomplished artist, creative director, and thought leader, known for his ability to transform ideas into powerful visual narratives. As the driving force behind conceptual development at mhdezign, he leads high-impact branding initiatives and the annual Art For Health program, which unites artists and healthcare professionals to inspire positive change in underserved communities. Marek also hosts the Create or Die podcast and mentors aspiring creatives at AIGA Chicago.
Throughout his career, Marek has partnered with leading organizations such as VML, Human, FCB Global, Arc Worldwide, BlackRock, Gauge Branding, and P&G, consistently delivering exceptional creative work. His designs have earned recognition from institutions like Communication Arts, GDUSA, LogoLounge, AIGA, and the Chicago Innovation Awards.
Marek’s insights have been featured on ABC & FOX News, as well as in interviews with Shout Out Colorado, Canvas Rebel, and Voyage Denver. He holds a BFA in Visual Communication and Photography from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
When he’s not creating, Marek enjoys traveling the world with his wife, daughter, and their dog, Ziggy.
